Your day starts early with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 4:30 AM. After approximately a 3-hour drive through the beautiful Sacred Valley and winding mountain roads, you arrive at the trailhead in Soraypampa. From there, you begin a moderate uphill hike of about 1.5 to 2 hours, passing through diverse flora and fauna as you ascend towards the lake.

Once you reach Humantay Lake, you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the vibrant turquoise water framed by dramatic snow-capped peaks. This is the perfect moment to take photos, rest, and soak in the pristine natural beauty. After spending time at the lake, you descend the trail back to Soraypampa, where your transportation will be waiting.

The return trip to Cusco takes about 3 hours, with an expected arrival back at your hotel in the early evening.
