Itinerary

Day 1: Sacred Valley Tour and Travel to Aguas Calientes

Morning Pickup and Departure (Approx. 08:00 AM)
You will be picked up from your hotel and travel through the Sacred Valley, beginning with scenic stops at viewpoints that offer panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

Pisac Ruins and Market (09:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Explore the Pisac archaeological site, known for its agricultural terraces, ceremonial centers, and stunning views. Then visit the local artisan market in Pisac town, famous for its handmade textiles, ceramics, and jewelry.

Lunch in Urubamba (12:30 PM – 13:30 PM)
Stop in the town of Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch featuring Peruvian cuisine (included or optional, depending on the package).

Ollantaytambo Fortress (14:00 PM – 15:00 PM)
Discover the massive stone structures of Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca military, religious, and agricultural center. Your guide will explain the strategic importance of this site during the resistance against the Spanish.

Train to Aguas Calientes (16:00 PM – 17:40 PM)
After the tour, board the train to Aguas Calientes, a charming town nestled in the cloud forest. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore or dine at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour and Return to Cusco

Early Breakfast and Bus to Machu Picchu (05:30 AM – 06:00 AM)
After breakfast at the hotel, take a short bus ride up to Machu Picchu, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world.

Guided Tour of Machu Picchu (06:30 AM – 08:30 AM)
Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the citadel. Visit key sites including the Temple of the Sun, Main Plaza, Intihuatana (Sun Stone), Royal Quarters, and more. Learn about the site’s history, architecture, and cultural significance.

Free Time and Return to Aguas Calientes (09:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore more of Machu Picchu on your own (or hike an optional trail if booked in advance), then return by bus to Aguas Calientes.

Lunch and Return Train to Ollantaytambo (12:30 PM – 14:30 PM)
Enjoy lunch in town (on your own), then board the train back to Ollantaytambo.

Transfer Back to Cusco (16:00 PM – 19:00 PM)
Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo station, a private transport will return you to your hotel in Cusco.
